Keeping Our Community Engaged
In addition to the health and economic risks of our current times, a significant stress-point can be isolation and lack of community engagement. As humans, God created us to be interdependent. Our passion during this time is to create meaningful ways to engage our Sea Road Community spiritually, relationally, financially and physically. This means we need to prayerfully consider creative ways to implement the love of Jesus while exercising wisdom to Love our neighbor during these unique times. This page will be updated regularly to keep you, our Sea Road family, informed of what’s going on and how you can get involved as well. Please check back often and if you aren’t already on our email list, sign-up here.

We are currently in a series in which Pastor Paul is going through the Book of Isaiah. The timing of these stories about the Old Testament God and his interaction with the people of Israel, has significant relevance to us today. This same God is alive today and we can see his work even in times of stress and unknowns. If you want to listen to previous sermons you can visit our sermon audio link here.
As many of you know, Pastor Rene Bezerra has been with us since the Fall of 2015. After serving for two years to fulfill his mentored ministry requirements at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and upon graduation of GCTS, Sea Road hired Rene as full time pastoral staff starting in the summer of 2017. Rene knew that he wanted to make a 3-5 year commitment. Over the past three years serving at Sea Road, Rene has become very passionate about non-profit management and administration. Last year, to pursue his passion, he began a masters degree program at Northeastern University in non-profit management. At his initiative and request, Rene has begun the process this past year preparing to seek the next step in his career path hoping to serve in non-profit management. Thankfully, while Rene will be stepping away from his official title as the administrative pastor at Sea Road, he is looking to stay employed in the area with the desire to stay connected at Sea Road and continue to serve in volunteer ministry. The exact timing of when this transition is still to be determined but it will likely be happening by the end of this calendar year. Please be sure to watch the video to hear more details and join us in prayer for the LORD’s guidance and direction in the next steps for Rene and his family.
Daily Dose of The Gospel
In addition to our normal Bible series on Sundays, we wanted to be intentional about sharing words of encouragement from God’s Word to keep us all grounded in Jesus. We’ve titled these Your Daily Dose of the Gospel and they are shorter more frequent videos by our Church Leaders. Here is the most recent video below and here is a link to a playlist on YouTube if you want to review previous episodes.
