Keeping Our Community Engaged

In addition to the health and economic risks of our current times, a significant stress-point can be isolation and lack of community engagement. As humans, God created us to be interdependent. Our passion during this time is to create meaningful ways to engage our Sea Road Community spiritually, relationally, financially and physically. This means we need to prayerfully consider creative ways to implement the love of Jesus while exercising wisdom to Love our neighbor during these unique times. This page will be updated regularly to keep you, our Sea Road family, informed of what’s going on and how you can get involved as well. Please check back often and if you aren’t already on our email list, sign-up here.

Most Recent Sunday Sermons

We recently finished the “I AM” Series and this past Sunday had a post Easter challenge sermon entitled “Now What?” Next Sunday we will begin a new series called “Isaiah” in which Pastor Paul will be delving into the book of Isaiah to help us see how the Old Testament God and his interaction with the people of Israel, has significant relevance to us today. If you want to listen to previous sermons you can visit our sermon audio link here.

ECHO – Sea Road Youth

We’ve missed seeing our ECHO students in person but we know with the time available along with access to digital media, there are plenty of opportunities to share and stay connected with your parent’s permission. This section will be for keeping ECHO youth updated on what’s going on with Marcus and team and when possible we will post some public videos. However, we will also be sending along some private videos for engaging our families in creative ways. So, get those cameras out and start snapping some home video for sharing with others. Stay tuned via email and if you are a parent interested in signing up to receive emails fill out this online form here. Below is a recent video to help the students get up to speed on the doctrine of the Trinity for their ongoing zoom sessions.

Daily Dose of The Gospel

In addition to our normal Bible series on Sundays, we wanted to be intentional about sharing words of encouragement from God’s Word to keep us all grounded in Jesus. We’ve titled these Your Daily Dose of the Gospel and they are shorter more frequent videos by our Church Leaders. Here is the most recent video below and here is a link to a playlist on YouTube if you want to review previous episodes.

New England Parkinson’s Ride

The New England Parkinson’s Ride is coming Saturday, September 7! We’re looking for volunteers in these capacities:

Volunteer to Help (Table Setup, Stocking Tables/Greeting Cyclists, etc.)
Preparing/Bringing Refreshments
Ride in the race as part of Team Sked!

We are looking forward to have you join the Sea Road Church Rest Stop team or ride in the event. Our church team is called “Team Sked” in honor of our beloved brother Bob Sked who for years have been struggling with Parkinson’s Disease.

Last year the New England Parkinson’s Ride raised over a million dollars in support of Parkinson’s research which has already produced promising results. Our rest stop is the favorite among riders and they “love” our baked goods. It’s really an exciting event and its an honor to support the hundreds of riders that come by our front yard to refill their energy with some amazing snacks and drinks.

Registration for bringing baked good and fruits, volunteer in our Rest-Stop, and for riding in the event as part of Team Sked are now open. Rest-Stop volunteers and cyclists will get a free event t-shirt. For more information please email Pr. Rene Bezerra,, or sign up at our online Events page.

Check out this video from 2013 Sea Road rest stop for the dedicated bike riders.
