The 7 Churches of Revelation

7churches-graphicThis series focuses on the seven churches from Revelation 2-3. While these letters were written to seven historical churches, they are representative of the strengths and problems that churches have faced for the past 2000 years.

The problems outlined in Revelation 2-3 consist of churches that struggle with being all head and no heart, having good deeds but bad doctrine, being more tolerant than God, stopped caring or trying, seeking comfort and convenience before Christ. The strengths consist of being faithful no matter what, refusing to compromise, and seeking to overcome no matter the obstacles. We have much to learn from these churches. Those who suffer for the gospel have much to teach us as it relates to being faithful and obedient to Christ no matter the cost. As you listen, be prepared to be challenged and convicted about the cost of discipleship.
