Who We Are

Our mission, vision, and map.

Our Vision

We want to see lives deeply transformed by the fullness of Christ. To that aim, we desire to be a place where the worship is authentic and vibrant, where community and friendships can flourish, and where the gospel changes us and conforms us into the likeness of Christ for the sake of others.

Our Map

The fullness of Christ is experienced through:

gospel-centered worship.

gospel-centered community.

gospel-centered discipleship.

gospel-centered witness.

Our objective is to become persons of love who love God, love others, and make disciples of all peoples.

Our Mission

To lead as many people as possible to experience the fullness of Christ by being formed in the likeness of Christ.

What That Looks Like

So what does the above actually look like in action? For now, at Sea Road, that looks like gathering together on Sunday mornings for a worship service, followed by a fellowship time with coffee, tea, and snacks. It looks like a spiritual formation group that meets on Sunday after the fellowship time, a weekly ladies Bible Study, a youth group that meets once a month, church potlucks on the first Sunday of every month, and weekly community groups that meet in each other’s homes to build one another up in the likeness of Christ. It can also look like friends gathering in each other’s homes or in a coffee shop, serving our local community, or more unstructured avenues of connecting.

Our deep desire is to not rely on programs to fulfill the needs of the church body, but rather for all of these various occurrences to grow organically out of our love for God and for one another, and our desire to live in community with him and each other. We are not a church that encourages people to “just plug in” to a program; rather, we seek to get to know each and every person who is part of our church body so that we may learn and grow together, serving and being served as needed.
